An eight year old girl was walking home from school,
when a man drove by, convincing her to get in.
This was observed by an unnamed bystander,
who, trusting his instinct, followed the car
and called the police, as they entered an apartment.
The police broke in, the perpetrator escaped.
The girl was raped and beaten,
but survived the encounter, just because someone did something.
